Trees are our best friends.They help us in various ways They give us food,medicine,timber,fuel and so on.Besides, trees take in carbon dioxide which is very harmful to our environment.They also give out oxygen without which no animals can live.Trees peovide us with flowers.They make the atmosphere cool and bring down rain.Thus the importance of trees cannot be discribed in word. Yet some selfish and ignorant people are cutting down trees recklessly.The little forests that we have in Chattogram, Khulna, Dinajpur and Tangail areas are ahrinking day by day due to increassing population.So,it is a crying need to plant more trees. There are various food trees in our country. But they are not sufficient because we have to important fruits from abroad. So, we have to plant more fruit trees to solve this Problem. Trees also help preserve soil.During the flood or heavy rainfall, treea preserve the soil from being washed away.To save our environment and to lead a prosperous life,we must plant more trees.The earth without trees trees is nothing but a desert.Trees make our earth greener and our life safer.

গাছ আমাদের সেরা বন্ধু। তারা আমাদেরকে বিভিন্নভাবে সাহায্য করে ।তারা আমাদের খাদ্য, ওষুধ, কাঠ, জ্বালানি ইত্যাদি দেয়। এছাড়া গাছ কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইড গ্রহণ করে যা আমাদের পরিবেশের জন্য খুবই ক্ষতিকর। তারা অক্সিজেনও দেয় যা ছাড়া কোন প্রাণী বাঁচতে পারে না। গাছ আমাদের ফুল দিয়ে পিওভিড. তারা বায়ুমণ্ডলকে শীতল করে তোলে এবং বৃষ্টি নামায়। তাই গাছের গুরুত্ব ভাষায় বর্ণনা করা যায় না। তারপরও কিছু স্বার্থপর ও অজ্ঞ লোক বেপরোয়াভাবে গাছ কেটে ফেলছে। আমাদের চট্টগ্রাম, খুলনা, দিনাজপুর ও টাঙ্গাইল এলাকায় যে ছোট ছোট বন রয়েছে তা ক্রমবর্ধমান জনসংখ্যার কারণে দিন দিন কমে যাচ্ছে। তাই বেশি বেশি গাছ লাগাতে হবে। আমাদের দেশে বিভিন্ন খাদ্য গাছ রয়েছে। কিন্তু সেগুলো পর্যাপ্ত নয় কারণ আমাদের বিদেশ থেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ফল আনতে হবে। তাই, এই সমস্যা সমাধানের জন্য আমাদের আরও বেশি করে ফলের গাছ লাগাতে হবে। গাছ মাটি সংরক্ষণেও সাহায্য করে। বন্যা বা ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের সময়, গাছ মাটিকে ভেসে যাওয়া থেকে রক্ষা করে। আমাদের পরিবেশ বাঁচাতে এবং সমৃদ্ধ জীবনযাপন করতে হলে আমাদের অবশ্যই বেশি বেশি গাছ লাগাতে হবে। বৃক্ষহীন পৃথিবী মরুভূমি ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়। গাছ আমাদের পৃথিবীকে আরও সবুজ এবং আমাদের জীবনকে নিরাপদ করে।
