এক রাখাল যুবক একটি খুব সুন্দরী যুবতী মেয়েকে দেখল। দেখেই মেয়েটিকে তার পছন্দ হয়ে গেল। রাখাল মেয়েটিকে বিয়ের প্রস্তাব দিল। মেয়েটি রাজী হয়ে গেল। দুজনে মিলে বিয়ে পড়ানাের জন্য কাজির কাছে গেল। রূপবতী মেয়েটিকে দেখে কাজি নিজেই পছন্দ করে ফেলল। কাজি বলল "ও একজন সামান্য রাখাল, ও তােমাকে কি দিতে পারবে? আমিই তােমাকে বিয়ে করব, আমার কাছে তুমি অনেক সুখে থাকবে।" রাখাল এ কথা শুনে রেগে গেল। তার ও কাজির মধ্যে ঝগড়া লেগে গেল। এবার তারা তিনজনে মিলে নালিশ নিয়ে গেল পুলিশের কাছে। পুলিশ মেয়েটিকে দেখে বলল, "ওরা দুজনেই বাদ আমিই তােমাকে বিয়ে করব।" এবার রাখাল,কাজি ও পুলিশ এই তিনজনের মধ্যেই গােলমাল লেগে গেল। মেয়েটি এবার বলল,"ঠিক আছে এবার তােমরা তিনজনে এক কাজ কর, আমি দৌড় দিব আর তােমরা আমার পিছনে দৌড়াবে যে আমাকে প্রথমে ধরতে পারবে আমি তাকেই বিয়ে করব।" এবার মেয়েটি ছুটল এবং তাঁর পিছনে পিছনে তিনজনেই ছুট দিল। ছুটতে ছুটতে এক সময় তাঁদের সামনে একটি গর্ত পড়ল তাঁরা ঐ গর্তের মধ্যে পড়ে গেল। আসলে ঐ সুন্দরী যুবতি মেয়েটি হল দুনিয়া যার সৌন্দর্য আমরা যেই দেখি সেই মুগ্ধ হয়ে যাই। আর তার পেছনে পেছনে ছুটতে থাকা রাখাল, কাজি, আর পুলিশ হল এই দুনিয়ার মানুষ। কিন্তু ছুটতে ছুটতে এক সময় আমাদের সামনে মৃত্যু এসে দাড়ায় এবং আমরা কবরে নিপতিত হই। দুনিয়া ও আখিরাত দুটোই আমাদের হাতছাড়া হয়ে যায়।

The shepherd got angry when he heard this.A quarrel broke out between him and Qazi. This timethe three of them took the complaint to the police.The police saw the girl and said, "I will marryyou except for the two of them." This time theshepherd, Kazi and the police got into a fightbetween the three of them. The girl said, "Okay,now you three do one thing, I will run andyou will run after me so that you can catch mefirst, I will marry him." This time the girl ranand all three of them ran after her. As they wererunning, a hole fell in front of them and they fell intothat hole.In fact, that beautiful young girl is the world whosebeauty we are fascinated by what we see.
